(1869) Haram (sanctuary) of Al-Madina
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "حُرِّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى لِسَانِي"، قَالَ: وَأَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ، فَقَالَ: أَرَاكُمْ يَا بَنِي حَارِثَةَ قَدْ خَرَجْتُمْ مِنْ الْحَرَمِ، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ، فَقَالَ: بَلْ أَنْتُمْ فِيهِ.
SAHIH HADITH:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, I have made Medina a sanctuary between its two (Harrat) mountains. The Prophet went to the tribe of Bani Haritha and said (to them), I see that you have gone out of the sanctuary, but looking around, he added, No, you are inside the sanctuary.
