Cette association a vu le jour après notre réunion du lundi 1er janvier 2007 et vise les objectifs ci-après: Promouvoir la culture musulmane et arabe au sein de la communauté canadienne; Défendre et promouvoir les intérêts de ses membres; Être le porte-parole de ses membres pour tout ce qui a trait à la protection de leurs intérêts collectifs; Créer des institutions (mosquées, écoles, hôpitaux, associations sportives et tous ce dont les membres ont besoin), et recueillir des fonds et biens par voie de souscription publique pour ses membres; Imprimer, publier, éditer, distribuer et diffuser des informations se rapportant à la communauté; Collaborer et développer de bonnes relations avec d\'autres institutions, associations et organismes; Réaliser tous les objectifs figurant à l\'acte constitutif de l’AMMC.

Sunrise
Shurooq is the time of sunrise, the time when the upper limb of the sun just starts to appear above the horizon. This marks the end time for Fajr (morning) prayer.
Qiyam
The term Qiyam-ul-layl, in the most literal sense, means to stand during the night. It is a voluntary prayer which is offered between the time of Ishaa prayer and the Fajr prayer (before dawn). The difference between Standard and Hanafi (Juristic Methods)
The only difference is in the Asr prayer. In the standard method (which is used by Imamas Shafii, Hanbali, and Maliki) the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is equivalent to its height, whereas in the Hanafi method the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is twice its height.
