Bosnian islamic centre of Hamilton The Islamic center of Hamilton is one of the well known Mosques in the Stoney Creek area. It was established in the year: 2001. All Praise belongs to Allah, who blessed us with this Mosque after we had used rental space as a Mesjid.. It is to be used by all Muslims who follow Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The center is consists of a prayer hall for men, a separate prayer hall for sisters, a class room for studies, two separate toilets for men and women, and a place for ablution. The Mosque will be open officially, insha-Allah, in May 2004.Alhamdulillah, within a short period of its establishment we have been able to organize many activities. The main focus has been to call Muslims to correct Aqeeda and cultivate Islamic tarbiyah based on Quran and Sunnah. And within its importance, is to spread Islam to the non-muslims in Canada. With the blessings of Allah, there are many Muslims who have played important roles in the establishment of the Mosque and those who continue to work for the sake of Allah. We ask Allah (swt) to reward all of them with paradise, as promised by the prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). All success is due from Allah Alone. We ask Allah to Help us to do that which Pleases Him and to accept our efforts for His Sake. Imam Ismail Fetic

Sunrise
Shurooq is the time of sunrise, the time when the upper limb of the sun just starts to appear above the horizon. This marks the end time for Fajr (morning) prayer.
Qiyam
The term Qiyam-ul-layl, in the most literal sense, means to stand during the night. It is a voluntary prayer which is offered between the time of Ishaa prayer and the Fajr prayer (before dawn). But the most preferred time is before sunrise, in the last third of the night. For more information, read our article on qiyam.
The difference between Standard and Hanafi (Juristic Methods)
The only difference is in the Asr prayer. In the standard method (which is used by Imamas Shafii, Hanbali, and Maliki) the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is equivalent to its height, whereas in the Hanafi method the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is twice its height.
Daylight Saving Time
Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of setting the clocks forward one hour from standard time during the summer months, and back again in the fall, in order to make better use of natural strong daylight. IslamicFinder Website is adjusting daylight savings automatically according to your location.
Latitude and Longitude
